REUNIONS | Former classmates plan to meet

• The Boardman High School Class of 1970 will have its 40-year reunion next year. The banquet will take place Aug. 6, 2010, at the Holiday Inn, and a picnic at Boardman Park will be Aug 7, 2010. Invitations will be mailed in April.

• Chaney High School Class of 1959 will celebrate its 50-year reunion on July 25 with a dinner and dance at the Fifth Season Banquet Center. A stag and drag event is planned for July 24. Any class member who did not receive an invitation is asked to contact Judy Labozan Ramos at (330) 533-5406, or Geri Krajcirik at (330) 702-1944.

• The John and Ida Davis 31st family reunion dinner will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the community center in East Palestine City Park. Families are asked to take buns, beverages, a casserole and table service and items for a white elephant sale. For more information contact Bonnie Davis, (330) 426-4545.

• Struthers High School classes of 1941, 1942, and 1943 will sponsor a reunion luncheon for members and guests at noon July 22 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. Any classmate who has not received a written notification regarding the details is asked to call (330) 755-3377. The cost is $20 per person. Reservations and checks are required by July 13.
