BC Contracting receives Rockford Steel dealership
STRUTHERS — BC Contracting, a family-owned contractor, has been awarded a Rockford Steel Building dealership. The local company, which has been in business since 1976, offers service and installation for heating, ventilating and air conditioning, as well as plumbing, excavating and general contracting for commercial and residences.
Rockford has more than 300 dealers across the U.S. Its buildings come in multiple sizes, from garages to large industrial buildings. BC Contracting will be erecting buildings as well as selling directly to other qualified contractors and individuals.
Human-resource group schedules dinner meeting
NILES — The Western Reserve Chapter of the Society of Human Resources will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. July 14 at Alberini’s Restaurant, 1201 Youngstown-Warren Road. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. Atty. John Gerak will provide an update on federal labor and employment legislation. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for others. Reservation forms are on the chapter Web site at wrc-shm.org and are due by July 7.
