McDonald school board sets temporary budget

McDONALD — The board of education approved a temporary 2009-10 budget of $1.9 million to cover district expenses from July 1 to Sept. 30.

The amount is 25 percent of what the district spent for the entire 2008-09 school year, treasurer Thomas Radabaugh said Monday.

The board also hired a new high school math teacher, Josh Camuso, under a one-year limited contract at a salary of $30,722. He will replace Donna Dolsak, who retired as high school math teacher in June.

The board accepted a $150 donation from the McDonald Lion’s Club for the purchase of a computer compatible printer for use by visually impaired students.
