Trip is planned in celebration of Molson 50th

CANFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. John R. Molson of Canfield are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their wedding, which took place June 20, 1959, at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Youngstown.

Their family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Manenti, and two granddaughters, Victoria and Amelia Manenti, all of Canfield. Their son, Terry John, died in 1984.

Mrs. Molson, the former Mary Jane Craciun, was employed in the classified advertising department at The Vindicator prior to becoming a full time homemaker.

Mr. Molson served with the U.S. Amy Signal Corps during the Korean War from 1952-1954. He retired n 1997 after 47 years of employment in various departments at The Vindicator.

The couple have planned a trip for this summer in celebration of their anniversary.
