This year’s Vindicator spring All-Stars made pretty big “state”-ments.

All seven advanced to state competition in their respective sports, with three of them (Lakeview’s Ben Moody, Boardman’s Corey Linsley and Howland’s Nicole Pachol) earning track and field gold.

Two others — Ursuline’s Casey Lower and Springfield’s Todd Kibby — led their teams to the best finishes in school history. Another, Boardman’s Robert Salcedo, capped his stellar career with his fourth straight trip to Columbus. And, Fitch’s Ali Tolich showed she’s someone to watch over the next two years by finishing in the top four in tow field events.
