Rescue site challenge can help animals

WARREN — Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County is participating in the Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Challenge. Communities can help the Animal Welfare League by voting online each day through July 26.

Vote by going to www.theanimalrescuesite.com and clicking on the free food button at the top of the page. At the top of the next page, click on “Vote Now,” type in animal Welfare League, Warren, OH, and then verify your vote.

The grand prize is $20,000, second prize is $5,000, third prize is $3,0000 and two honorable mentions will be given at $1,500. The top state winners will receive $1,000. Animal Welfare League stands sixth in Ohio and 207th nationwide.
