NEOUCOM Local graduates


Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy, Rootstown, welcomed Ohio’s newest physicians at a commencement ceremony at University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Center. The local graduates, by county, are:

Columbiana

Tera Williams, daughter of Terry and Deborah Williams of East Liverpool, will complete a medical residency in obstetrics-gynecology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She is a graduate of East Liverpool High School.

Mahoning

Anthony Boulos, son of Elias and Kathleen Boulos of Canfield, will complete a medical residency in internal medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation/NEOUCOM, Canton. He is a graduate of Canfield High School.

Ndal Farah, son of Mahmud and Kawther Farah of Youngstown and married to Iman Mahmoud, will complete a medical residency in anesthesiology at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He is a graduate of Liberty High School.

Joseph Grajo, son of Joseph and Ruth Grajo of Youngstown, will complete a medical residency in diagnostic radiology at University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, Fla. He is a graduate of Ursuline High School.

Mikhenan Horvath, daughter of James and Cary Horvath of Austintown, will complete a medical residency in dermatology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.

Gene Huang, son of Pang-Hsiung and Chiuyen Huang of Youngstown, will complete a medical residency in preliminary surgery/urology at Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, Calif. He is a graduate of Liberty High School.

Joseph L. Kearney IV, son of Joseph and Nancy Kearney of Boardman, will complete a medical residency in emergency medicine at Summa Health System/NEOUCOM, Akron. He is a graduate of Boardman High School.

Stephanie Hunter, daughter of Marvin Hunter of Youngstown and Lee Hunter of Youngstown, will complete a medical residency in emergency medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland. She is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School.

Neha Kumar, daughter of Ajit and Sangita Kumar of Youngstown, will complete ophthalmology residency at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, and a transitional medical residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She is a graduate of Boardman High School.

Kristine Marinelli, daughter of Joe and Jane Marinelli of Boardman, will complete a medical residency in psychiatry at NEOUCOM Affiliated Hospitals, Akron. She is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School.

Dominic Peters, son of Dominic and Georgette Peters of Poland, will complete a medical residency in orthopaedic surgery at Michigan State University, Kalamazoo, Mich. He is a graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

Niki Stamos, daughter of Peter and Mara Stamps of Campbell, will complete a medical residency in pathology at Summa Health System/NEOUCOM, Akron. She is a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

Robert Wetzel, son of Dr. Robert and Bina Wetzel of Poland, will complete a medical residency in orthopaedic surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Chicago. He is a graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

Trumbull

Aliraza Dinani, son of Dilu and Zainab Dinani of Hubbard, will complete a master of public health program at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. He is a graduate of Liberty High School.

Sauman Rafii, son of Mostafa and Pouran Raffi of Warren, will complete a transitional medical residency at Aultman Hospital/NEOUCOM Canton, and a residency in anesthesiology at NYU School of Medicine, New York, N.Y. He is a graduate of Howland High School.
