MVPC plans garden party at Stonewall Building

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Pride Coalition will have its annual garden party at 2 p.m. June 27 at the Stonewall Building, 1523 Poland Ave.

Those attending are to take a potluck dish and serving spoon. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided by the center. Ice water and Kool-Aid will be provided, canned pop will be for sale at 50 cents, or take what you like. A few bags of ice are needed.

Everyone is asked to take a starter vegetable, starter plant or seed pack to exchange with gardeners. Plants or bulbs can also be planted at the center.

Remember to take cameras and a friend. Donations are accepted. If most people park across the street, there will be room to put tables outside.
