Golfers of all ages invited to scramble
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — The 6th annual Shamrock Golf Scramble will be July 11 at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course, state Route 18. The event is open to golfers of all ages, and limited to the first 36 teams to register.
The cost for a four-person team is $300 and includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, beverages at the turn, and a steak fry. Registration will be from noon to 1 p.m., and play will begin at 1:45. There will be a raffle and Chinese auction.
Proceeds will benefit the Michael Murphy Foundation, which helps children with special needs, and the Penn State Shenango Michael W. Murphy Memorial Scholarship, which is given to outstanding undergradute students enrolled in the business program (special preference is given to students who have served in the armed forces).
