Panhellenic members make donation

SUPPLIERS: The social services committee of Youngstown Panhellenic Association recently donated much-needed supplies of household goods, kitchen items and toiletries to the YWCA Barbara Wick Transitional House. Showing some of the items that will be used by homeless females and children who occupy the 18 furnished single-room occupancy units at the home are, from left, Anna Marie Barksdale, housing and supportive services director at the home; Sharman Simon, Elaine Klempay and Jayne Boucherle, members of the committee; and Jessica Phillips, housing program manager at the home. Support services at the home include 24-hour crisis assistance, case management, health and wellness promotion activities, advocacy services, emergency food and transportation assistance and career adjustment referrals.
