Golf classic to benefit sports program

WARREN — The inaugural Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital Golf Classic 2009 will be July 17 at Tamer Win Golf and Country Club in Cortland. The 18-hole scramble will be a benefit for the adapted sports program for the physically challenged.

The registration fee is $65 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, meals, refreshments and door prizes. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and tee-off will be at 11. Play will include mulligans and skins. Prizes and awards, donated by area businesses, will be presented at the 4 p.m. dinner. Dinner-only tickets will be available for $20 per person, and tickets will be sold for a 50-50 raffle.
