Mesopotamia ox roast coming July 4th weekend

The 36th Annual Mesopotamia Ox Roast, Antiques and Flea Market will take place July 3, 4 and 5 in the center of Mesopotamia, at the intersections of state routes 534 and 87.

Hosted by the Mesopotamia Volunteer Fire Department, the event will feature more than 160 dealers and live entertainment each day. Each morning from 7-11 a.m. at the fire station, breakfast will be served.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 3 and 4, and 10 a.m. to an undetermined time July 5. This is the fire department’s main fundraiser, and it relies on the proceeds to purchase equipment.
