EASTWOOD FIELD | A to Z
In order to get the most enjoyment possible out your visit to see the Scrappers, here are some valuable tips:

Alcohol Regulations: All persons purchasing alcoholic beverages must have valid photo identification and be 21 years of age in compliance with Ohio State liquor laws. Acceptable forms of identification include an Ohio State driver’s license, an Ohio State non-driver’s I.D., a military I.D. or a passport. It is unlawful to purchase alcohol for minors.
Autograph Booth: Located within the Fun Zone on the third-base side. A Scrapper player will be available 55 minutes before the start of each game to sign autographs for approximately 20 minutes. Schedule subject to change.
Behavior: The Mahoning Valley Scrappers provide a family-oriented experience; therefore we ask that the behavior of our fans be in accordance with this atmosphere. Thus, the use of disruptive and vulgar language or gestures is prohibited. If your enjoyment is at any time being interrupted by the behavior of another fan, please contact ballpark security, an usher, or a Scrappers staff member to correct the situation.
Birthdays: All requests to be included on the Scrappers Message Board must be submitted by going to the birthday section of this website 48 hours in advance (include link) or by calling the Scrappers front office at (330) 505-0000. All announcements are made during the first two innings of each Scrappers Home Game.
Broadcasts: WNIO-AM 1390 is the flagship station for Mahoning Valley Scrappers Baseball broadcasts.
Cameras: Fans are permitted to use both still and video cameras in the ballpark to shoot pre-game, game action, and between-inning activities as long as they are not obstructing other fans. Tripods and other camera stands are prohibited. Fans should be advised that it is illegal to sell or mass-produce any photos taken at Eastwood Field without the consent of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in fan ejection and/or confiscation of film.
Child Ticket Policy: Children three years old and under are admitted into Eastwood Field free of charge as long as they do not occupy a seat. If they require a seat, they will be charged full price for a ticket.
Concessions: Located within the main concourse on the first and third base sides. Additional portables are also located throughout the stadium. Click here for more information.
Elevators: The ballpark’s elevator is located behind home plate across from our souvenir stand. The elevator provides access to our Suite Level.
Fan Assistance Center: Located behind section 203 on the first base concourse, the Fan Assistance Center is available for contest sign-ups, group sweepstakes winners to redeem prizes, Launch-A-Ball purchases and for any questions or concerns throughout the game.
Family Section: The Glenbeigh Family Section is located in section 118 and provides fans with a game experience free from alcohol sales or consumption.
Field Measurements: The ballpark’s dimensions are as follows: left field: 335 feet, center field: 405 feet, right field: 335 feet. The home run fence is 8 feet high from left field to right field except for the bullpen areas where it is only 4 feet high.
Friday Fireworks: The Scrappers host multiple fireworks shows throughout the season. Firework shows begin following the completion of the game. All games are nine innings, however there is the possibility that the game may go into extra innings.
First Aid: All first aid services are provided by Lane Life Trans. Fans in need of medical assistance should inform a security officer, Scrappers staff member or usher immediately. Emergency medical service is available behind home plate across, from the souvenir stand.
Flying Objects: Baseballs, bats and other equipment can be very dangerous. Please keep your attention focused on the field when play is in progress. Fans may keep any baseball hit or tossed into the stands, but must not enter the playing field to retrieve a baseball or otherwise interfere with a live ball. The Scrappers are not liable for any injury due to equipment coming from the field of play.
Food & Beverage Carry-In Policy: To ensure the safety of our fans, players and associates; bottles, cans, coolers, carry-in food or beverages will not be permitted to be carried inside Eastwood Field per New York Penn League rules.
Fun Zone: Located in the left field corner, the Scrappers Fun Zone sponsored by Trumbull County Children Services, features an inflatable speed pitch, a large inflatable slide, and moon bounce. Before each game, watch for a Scrappers player to be signing autographs and wait until the 4th or 5th inning when Scrappy will arrive and sign autographs as well. All games require Fun Zone coupons, which may be purchased for $1.00 each. Wristbands may also be purchased for unlimited games.
Gates: Open approximately one hour before the start of the game. This may be subject to change without notice.
Gift Shop: The Pet Store is located in the main concourse by section 110. Merchandise is available on-line, during games or within regular business hours at the stadium (8:30 am to 5:30 pm).
Injury Disclaimer: The ticket holder assumes all risk and danger incidental to the game of baseball, including specifically (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by thrown bats and thrown or batted balls, and agrees that the Commissioner, the participating clubs, their agents and players are not liable for injuries resulting from such cases.
Lost and Found: Fans who have lost or found an item during an event at Eastwood Field should report to the Fan Assistance Center located behind section 203 on the first base concourse. At the conclusion of each event, the items are stored at the Fan Assistance Center, where they are kept until claimed. You can contact a representative at the Scrappers Office (330) 505-0000 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Lost Children: Lost children should be escorted to the Fan Assistance Center located behind section 203 Parents trying to locate a lost child should contact the Fan Assistance Center.
Lost Tickets: The Scrappers are not responsible for any lost or stolen tickets. There will be no refunds and no exchanges.
Maintenance: If you notice an area of the ballpark (i.e., seats, rest rooms, lights) you feel needs to be repaired, please report to the Fan Assistance Center located behind section 203 on the first base concourse, where your request will be documented and forwarded to our ballpark operations staff.
Message Boards: The message board is located under the video board in center field. It provides group information, birthdays, special welcomes, sponsor details, as well as statistics pertaining to the game.
Nets (for the catching of foul balls): Strictly prohibited in the ballpark.
Parking: Parking fees are separate from ticket purchases. Parking fees are charge upon entrance into the stadium lot. Fee is charged per car. Patrons who walk through the gate will also be charged a parking fee per person. Groups arriving in buses will be charged a special fee for larger vehicles.
Pets: Pets are not permitted in the ballpark except for fans requiring the use of guide dogs or during the Scrappers Bark at the Park Night. This year’s Bark at the Park Night is on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Physically Challenged: Eastwood Field offers the following services for physically challenged fans: Parking: There are a number of disabled parking spaces in the Eastwood Field parking lot in front of the stadium. Disabled fans, or those driving a fan with a handicap, should notify the parking manager of their desire to park in the reserved handicapped area. Upon notification, the parking lot staff will direct the vehicle to the closest parking space, subject to availability. Proper handicapped identification is required. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense. Seating: Row G on the walkway dividing the lower and upper seating bowls is available.
Picnic Garden: The Bullpen Bar & Grille located in the right field corner at Eastwood Field provides a perfect venue for company or group outings. The Bullpen Bar & Grille is a five-level party deck featuring picnic tables and a unique view of the playing field. The picnic area can accommodate parties from 25 to 1,000. All picnics begin 90 minutes prior to the game and end at first pitch when the area becomes open to the public.
Postponed Games: There are two types of cancellations of Scrappers games due to adverse weather conditions. Game in progress postponed: If this occurs while you are at the ballpark, keep your ticket stub and redeem it at the ticket office for a future game, subject to availability and excluding special events. Please be advised, this transaction does not have to take place on the day the game is postponed. By New York Penn League Rules, five innings (or 4 innings if the home team is leading the game) constitutes a complete game and no ticket refunds or rain checks will be issued. In the event a double header is postponed after five innings of game one have been completed, it will be considered a complete game. No refunds or rain checks will be issued. Game postponed before gates open: If this occurs, keep your whole ticket and exchange it at the ticket office for a future game of your choice, subject to availability and excluding special events. Please be advised the New York Penn League President governs the rescheduling of postponed games and, in most cases, the game will be replayed on the next available date. The umpires make the sole determination to postpone a game that has started and can only do so after waiting a minimum of 45 minutes from the time the game was halted. During an opponent’s last trip to a city, the umpires make the sole determination to postpone a game, even if it hasn’t started.
Press Box: Located on the Suite level directly behind home plate. The press box can be accessed via the elevators located behind home plate across from the souvenir stand. A valid media credential is required for admittance to the Scrappers Press Box.
Radio/Personal TV’s: These items are allowed in the stadium, as long as their use does not disrupt other guests.
Rain Delays: The umpire-in-chief shall be the sole judge as to when play shall be suspended during a game because of unsuitable weather conditions, as well as when a game will be resumed or terminated after such suspension begins. An umpire must wait a minimum of 45 minutes after a suspension begins before making a determination on postponement or termination. A rain delay may continue as long as he believes there is any chance to resume play.
Re-Entry: Fans are allowed to exit the stadium and re-enter only in the case of an emergency. Please consult a security officer or a Scrappers staff member prior to leaving the stadium.
Rest Rooms: Rest room facilities are located on both levels of the stadium. There are Diaper Dugout areas located in the women’s rest rooms behind sections 201 and 213. The Family Restroom is located next to our Elevators across from the souvenir stand. All rest rooms are equipped to serve physically challenged patrons.
Smoking Law: Ohio State Law prohibits smoking in Eastwood Field except in designated areas in the picnic garden.
Solicitation: Soliciting of any products, services and/or monetary donations in Eastwood Field or on the surrounding premises is strictly prohibited. Violators will be escorted from the property.
Suggestions and Complaints: Should be forwarded to the Fan Assistance Center located behind Section 203 or call (330) 505-0000 during regular business hours.
Suite Rentals: A limited number of luxury suites are available for rental on a game-by-game basis. Full suites have 20 seats, while our Dawg House, holds 12 fans. For information on suite rental rates and dates, call (330) 505-0000.
Telephones: There are three pay phones located at Eastwood Field. One is located in front of the main gates on the left hand side. Both phones inside the gates are on the third base side, one across from the souvenir stand next to the elevators and Lane Life Trans. The other phone is between the men and women’s bathrooms on the third base.
Ticket Information: For ticket information, contact the Scrappers Box Office at (330) 505-0000. Box seat tickets are available for $8 and General Admission seats are available for $6. General Admission tickets are not assigned. Tickets can be purchased online under the tickets section by clicking on the tickets.com link and choosing your game, seat, and section. Online ticket purchases are done by credit card, additional fees will apply. Tickets can be mailed or held at the Denny’s Will Call window for pick-up. Orders may be placed up until 2 hours prior to the game on game days. Advanced Ticket Window: Tickets may be purchased during the game at the Advanced Ticket window located on the first base concourse.
Rain Checks: If a game is postponed because of poor weather conditions, the ticket-holder can exchange that ticket as policy dictates. Fans are entitled to the same-priced ticket, subject to availability. All of these transactions must take place at the Scrappers Box Office at Eastwood Field. Transactions can take place at any time throughout the baseball season during regular business hours. No monetary refunds are given. Special events are excluded. Will Call: The Denny’s Will Call window is the first ticket window located on the right hand side of the front gates. It is open one hour before the start of each game until the end of the fifth inning.
Ticket Re-Sale: Tickets may not be resold within 1,500 feet of the physical structure of the facility, which this event is held.
Ticket Office Hours: Located on the right hand side of the front gates at Eastwood Field, the Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning in May. On game days the office is open from 8:30 a.m. to the 7th inning stretch Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to the 7th inning stretch, Saturday and Sunday games. For your convenience during the game, please visit the concourse advanced ticket window located near Section 205 on the first base side of the ballpark. To order tickets over the phone please call (330) 505-0000. Phone orders can be placed on game days during normal business hours. Phone orders may be placed up until 2 hours prior to the start of the game. There is a $2.50 processing fee for all phone orders.
Tryouts: Individuals interested in a tryout should send a letter outlining their playing experience and statistics to: The Cleveland Indians; Attn: Scouting Department; Jacobs Field; 2401 Ontario St.; Cleveland, OH 44115.
Umbrellas: Umbrellas are permitted in Eastwood Field unless they obstruct other fans.
Ushers: The Scrappers ushers are situated throughout the seating areas of the ballpark to assist you with your seating needs and to make your visit to the ballpark more enjoyable. If there is anyone or anything interrupting your enjoyment of the ballgame, please ask your usher for his/her assistance.
