Brookfield schools hire new superintendent
BROOKFIELD — The principal of Columbiana High School has been named superintendent of Brookfield School District.
The Brookfield Board of Education selected Timothy Saxton, 41, of Columbiana to fill the position. He was given a three-year contract to begin Aug. 1 at a starting salary of $85,000.
Saxton was recommended for the job by a search team made up of current board members, faculty, staff, parents and students.
The Canfield native is married to the former Marilyn Marino and has three children: Delaney, 12, Lyndsey, 7, and T.J., 6.
