ATHLETIC GROUPS

• The McDonald Sideliners will have their monthly meeting Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Blue Devil room at the high school. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome.

CLUBS

• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the McDonald post office building.

• Youngstown Road Runners Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday June 22 at Birch Hill Cabin in Mill Creek Park for dinner at 6:30. There will be a Hall of Fame induction of S. Mark Courtney, Adrian Mangino and Guy “Pizzo” Pizzaforotto, and volunteer awards. The host will be Rick Hart. The event is free to club members and $5 for guests. • Youngstown American-Hungarian Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the clubhouse on Donald Avenue. On the agenda are the revision of bylaws and preparations for the YSU ethnic festival in July. Members are reminded to pay their dues so they can vote on bylaws. Before the meeting, there will be a picnic at 5 p.m. The club will provide the meat, and each member is asked to take a small casserole.

GUILDS

• Embroiderers Guild of America, Youngstown Chapter, will meet Tuesday at the I.O.O.F. Hall in Canfield. The morning meeting will begin at 10 a.m., and the evening meeting, at 7:30 p.m. Sally Svoboda will preside. The featured project will be a beaded necklace fob by Donna Boohs. • Girard Men’s Democrat Club meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parkwood Youth Center.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. every Wednesday of the month in the parish house.

• Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will host a public luncheon, “Sweet Land of Liberty,” from noon to 2 p.m. July 9 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Featured will be Kathy Lutz of Lutz Greenhouse, and Lauren and Hayley Ward with music. • Youngstown Women’s Connection invites the public to a luncheon, Kids Konnection, from noon to 2 p.m. July 14 at Lucianno’s Banquet Room, 1739 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, in the Wedgewood Plaza. • Insight Brain Injury support group of Trumbull County will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the board room at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, 8747 Squires Lane NE, Warren.

• Mended Hearts Chapter 7, a support group for heart survivors and their families, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus.
