Weekend Soap Box Derby cuts access to Fifth Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN — Fifth Avenue, between Grant Street and Wood Street, will be closed beginning 5 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Saturday for the Greater Youngstown Area Soap Box Derby.

In addition, the following side streets will be closed restricting access to Fifth: Wood Street, Rayen Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Orchard Place and Arlington Street. Motorists will be detoured to Commerce Street to Belmont Avenue to Grant Street.
