Police looking for man involved in South Side robbery

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the group of men responsible for robbing a 54-year-old South Side man at gunpoint in his home.

Police said the West Boston Avenue man was home at 10 p.m. Wednesday when two men came into his home, pulled out a gun and demanded cash and jewelry. The men ultimately took the man’s 2006 Chevrolet Impala as well as small items from around the house before running off.

The car was found in a garage in the 3000 block of Glenwood shortly after the robbery.
