Pa. Cub Scout worker faces child porn charges

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A federal prosecutor in Pittsburgh says a man accused of possessing child pornography is the aquatics director for a summer Cub Scouts camping program.

A grand jury has indicted 22-year-old Phillip Tielke of Castle Shannon, finding evidence that he had video files of children engaged in sexual conduct in October.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke Dembosky said at today’s court appearance that Tielke works for the Cub Scout section of Heritage Reservation, about 50 miles south-southeast of Pittsburgh. Tielke has been suspended from that job.

Tielke has no listed phone number and electronic court records didn’t indicate that he was represented by a lawyer.
