BOARDMAN — Announced by Geri and Patrick Kirkland, 7644 Huntington Drive, and Joseph Pallone, 4066 Baymar Drive, is the engagement of their daughter, Mariann Elizabeth Pallone, 1375 Holland Ave., Youngstown, and Robert Phillip Kromer Jr., 3134 Niles Carver Road, McDonald.

Parents of the future groom are Robert and Carole Kromer, 222 Peffer Ave., Niles.

The bride-elect is a dental hygienist with Drs. Gordon Marsh and Craig Huffman in Kent. She graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in applied science.

Her fianc earned his journeyman certification in machine repair through Packard Electric in Warren.

St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park has been chosen by the couple for their open wedding at 3 p.m. Aug. 14. Invitations will be issued for their reception that evening at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.
