COLUMBUS — A state-lawmaker panel has signed off on funding for improvements at Nelson Kennedy Ledges and Punderson State Park.
The Controlling Board, without comment, released $279,030 to build new restroom facilities at both parks, which are located in Portage and Geauga counties. A new recreational-vehicle sanitary-sewage dump station will be added at Punderson State Park, as well.
Mister Excavator Inc. of Kirtland and B&J Electric of Poland Inc. of North Lima submitted the low bids for the work, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
