South Side man in critical condition with gunshot wound

YOUNGSTOWN — Police said an Idora Avenue man was shot in the hip as he walked across the street in the 500 block of West Evergreen Avenue.

James A. Jones, 24, appeared to be hit once in the right hip and was listed in critical condition in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
