Wharmby Sports 10, Rondinelli Tuxedo 3

STRUTHERS — Wharmby Sports used a five-run second inning and a four-run sixth to knock off Rondinelli Tuxedo. Ben Bechtol had a double and single while Even Anzio drove home a pair of runs for Wharmby (11-5). Anthony Savko tossed six innings, allowing two runs on six hits with three strikeouts for the win. Adam Shrodak had three hits and Jake Double two for Rondinelli (12-4).

1080 Media 17, Roth Brothers 5

STRUTHERS — Dan Popio had five hits and drove home as many runs as every batter in the 1080 Media lineup had at least one hit. Matt Shelton went the distance for his third win, striking out three for 1080 Media (13-3). Nick Reinthaler and Dan Mioni had two hits each for Roth Brothers (8-8). Reinthaler drove home three runs.

Youngstown Express 10, OTN Performance 9

STRUTHERS — Anthony Mott’s one-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning scored the game-winning run as Youngstown Express rallied for four runs. Mott had three hits including a double and drove home three runs. Eric French had four hits and Phil Arsuffi and Jon DeAmicis three each for the Express (3-13). Wade Daniels and Shawn Roman had three hits each for OTN (10-6). Joe Sekula, Evan Bollinger, Gary Revale, LJ Schromofsky and Colin Bowser added two hits each.

Astro Falcons 7, Action Physical Therapy 1

STRUTHERS — Ron Sullivan allowed four hits and one run in the six innings he pitched for Astro Falcons (11-5). Sullivan (2-1) struck out two while Kyle Allen had two hits. Shane Wagner and Trent Vallinger drove home two runs each for the winners. Jordan Adkins had two hits for Action (2-14).
