MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, June 17: Stuffed peppers with sauce, mashed potatoes, yellow squash, wheat bread with margarine, birthday cake and milk.

Thursday, June 18: Grilled chicken with gravy, chopped spinach, au gratin potatoes, diced peaches, rye bread with margarine and milk.

Friday, June 19: Vegetable lasagna, peas, diced carrots, Italian bread with margarine, diced pears and milk.

Saturday, June 20: Cold cuts on a bun with mayonnaise and mustard, celery with ranch dressing, apple, and grape juice.

Monday, June 22: Hamburger with ketchup and mustard, zesty potatoes, baked beans, mixed fruit and milk.

Tuesday, June 23: Johnny Marzetti with Parmesan cheese, peas, Italian bread with margarine, unsweetened cinnamon applesauce, grape juice and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, June 17: Stuffed peppers with sauce, mashed potatoes, yellow squash, wheat bread with margarine, birthday cake (angel food cake available) and milk.

Thursday, June 18: Grilled chicken with gravy, spinach, au gratin potatoes, regular or unsweetened diced peaches, rye bread with margarine and milk.

Friday, June 19: Vegetable lasagna, peas, diced carrots, rye bread with margarine, regular or unsweetened diced pears and milk.

Monday, June 22: Hamburger on a bun with ketchup, mustard and relish, zesty potatoes, baked beans, regular or unsweetened mixed fruit and milk.
