Farm to sponsor annual summer program

MERCER, Pa. — Munnell Run Farm will have its annual summer program series for children on Wednesdays July 8-29.

All programs feature outdoor, hands-on activities that are age appropriate.

Preschool programs for children age 3 to 5 are offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

Programs for kids age 6 to 9 will run from 1 to 3 p.m. All programs are by preregistration only, and permission slips are required. The cost of each program is $2 per child per program and may be paid the day of the visit.

Munnell Run Farm is a 163-acre working farm owned by Mercer County and managed by the Munnell Run Farm Foundation Inc. with support from the Mercer County Conservation District.

It is one mile north of Mercer on state Route 58 West.
