Pharmacy
Dana A. Pitzulo, a 2003 Canfield graduate, graduated with distinction from Ohio Northern University’s Raabe College of Pharmacy, and received her doctorate of pharmacy degree.
She is the daughter of Sam and Janet Pitzulo of Canfield.
While at ONU, Pitzulo was a teaching assistant for inorganic chemistry, a pharmacy mentor, participated in Habitat for Humanity and was a member of the Multi-Sports Club.
She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, Alpha Lambda Delta honorary, and was a four-year varsity member of the ONU’s cross- country indoor and outdoor track teams, receiving academic all-conference in 2007.
She is affiliated with the American Pharmacist’s Association and the Ohio Society for Health Pharmacists.
Pitzulo has accepted a position with a CVS pharmacy in Raleigh, N.C.
Ecology and biology
Daniel Lee Rabosky of Poland has received his doctor of philosophy degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Cornell University.
During the course of his studies, he worked as a field biologist on San Clemente Island, an environmental consultant in southern California, and as a herpetologist for Utah Division of Wildlife.
His doctoral field work on ecological controls affecting speciation and extinction took place in the Australian Outback. He regularly gives seminars on his work at universities throughout the United States, Great Britain and Australia.
Rabosky attended Willow Creek Learning Center through middle school, graduating from Poland Seminary High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Ohio University and his master’s degree in blind snake systematics from Penn State University.
He will begin a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California at Berkeley. He is the son of Ronald and Lynn Rabosky of Poland.
Nursing
Patricia Burke McAllen recently received her doctor of philosophy in nursing degree from Kent State University College of Nursing.
While completing her coursework, McAllen was the recipient of the Federal Nurse Traineeship Grant and a scholarship from the St. Elizabeth Development Foundation. Additionally, the National Association of Bariatric Nurses awarded her a student research grant for her dissertation work.
She received a diploma in nursing from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing, her bachelor of science in nursing from Youngstown State University, and her master’s degree in nursing from LaRoche College. Her nursing career spans 36 years, most in nursing education.
She has served on the faculties of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, Youngstown State University, Kent State University and currently serves as campus director and professor of nursing at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, St. Elizabeth Campus.
She is the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Burke of Youngstown. She and her husband, Ted, live in Canfield, and they have three children, Ted, Patrick and Molly.

Bar exam
Sean R. Scullin of New Waterford has passed the Ohio State Bar Examination and has been sworn in an as attorney by the Ohio Supreme Court.
He graduated from Capital University School of Law, cum laude, earning his juris doctorate degree. While at Capital, he was a member of the Law Review, served as a teacher’s assistant, and earned a membership in the Order of the Curia, a law school honorary society.
He is a 2000 graduate of Crestview High School and received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Youngstown State University in 2004, majoring in finance.
He is an associate at the law firm of Roth, Blair, Roberts, Strasfeld & Lodge, L.P.A. in Youngstown.
Atty. Scullin is the son of Richard S. and Nancy K. Scullin of New Waterford.
DOCTORS
Osteopathic medicine
Christina Campana of Austintown has received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, Pa.
She is a 1999 Austintown Fitch High School graduate and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Youngstown State University in 2003.
She will do a residency at Akron General Medical Center.
She is the daughter of Albert and Adell Campana, Sprucewood Drive, Austintown.
