Community project was class act

As a community service project, Master Park Martial Arts International contributed $6,500 and Bodyworks Women’s Health and Fitness Center donated $1,800 to a Knights of Columbus fundraiser, planned as a benefit for Ed Port of Austintown, who is suffering from neurofibromatosis.

Participating as a check for the total amount of $8,300 is presented are, from left in back, Craig Mihalik; Port; Daniel Bair, a fundraising volunteer for the K. of C.; Master Park; and Mike Zack. Taking part in the event are Master Park students, from left in front, Christopher Lawrence, Maria Higgs, Mauricio Higgs, Anthony Habuda, Madeline Ray, Lily Weiss, Jaden Emerick, Joel Cuevas, Ciera Hancher and Michael Jurus.
