SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


AARP 4611

• Members of Youngstown Chapter 4611, AARP, will meet at noon Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Avenue. Each is asked to take a covered dish for the lunch. Payment will be accepted for the June trip, and April, May and June birthdays will be observed. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and tickets will be available for the gift card raffle. CMHS 47ERS

• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

COMMERCIAL INTERTECH

• Retirees of Commercial Intertech will meet at noon June 23 at the fellowship hall of St. Mark Church on Logan Way with Lou Pizzuto presiding. Reports will be by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick, and luncheon hostesses will be Jean Reed and Jeannette Armeni.

CROATIAN PENSIONERS

• Croatian Pensioners of Mahoning Valley will meet at noon Thursday at Lodge 66 Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road. A representative of the Youngstown Police Department will be the speaker. LOCAL 2243

• Retirees of Local 2243 USWA, Copperweld Steel, will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the new Local 1375 Union Hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. The speaker will be Kelly Pallante, director of Trumbull County Board of Elections.

LIBERTY 55-PLUS

• Liberty 55-Plus Senior Citizens will have a monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive, Liberty. Kay Herberger will preside, and hostesses will be Mary Colaprete, Gloria Latessa and Margaret Vecchione. There will also be a 50-50 raffle.

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Ruthe Mayberry will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.
