ASSOCIATIONS

• Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association (Scanner Club) will have a picnic at 4 p.m. June 20 at Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., Boardman. • Flora MacDonald Auxiliary will meet for dessert at 1 p.m. June 20 at the home of Margaret Herr.

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1944 will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

• Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s. Guests are welcome.

CLUBS

• Casa Savoia will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s in Poland. Evelyn Carbone and Jan Simpson are hostesses.

• Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart in Canfield for a noon luncheon and meeting. Lynn Doyle Pentworth and Karen Dennison will give their delegates’ reports on the state convention in Wittenberg. Evelyn Bosley and Dorothy Soles will serve as hostesses.

• Trumbull County Travel Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Panera Bread on Elm Road, Warren. David Wendt will speak and present slides on “A Fall Foliage Tour of Vermont.” The tour is scheduled for Sept. 28-Oct. 1. Information will be presented on a trip to see “Fiddler on the Roof” on July 22 with stops at Lehman’s and Smucker’s. The club is open to anyone over 18 interested in day trips or longer excursions. • Warren Women’s Connection will have its “A Tisket, A Tasket” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 13 Monday at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road N.E., Warren. A demonstration on making gift baskets will be given by Nancy Holderfield, and special music will be by vocalist Renee Koehrsen. • Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following meetings: Howland Happy Stitchers at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 851 Niles-Cortland Road, for a fleece scrap program by Carol Lewis (take fleece and basic sewing supplies); Austintown Stitch and Share at 10 a.m. Thursday at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road, Austintown, to make walker bags for nursing homes; and Material Girls at 6 p.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N. High St., Cortland, for a wool felted purse demonstration by Kathy Chamberlain.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. every Wednesday of the month in the parish house.
