YSU students plan kids craft event

NILES — As a project for their communication studies class at Youngstown State University, Barbara Neiswanger, Erika Quinton and Chelsea Munroe will conduct a “Crafts for Kids” event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Michael’s Arts and Crafts, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road.

The event is designed to collect new craft items such as crayons, paint sets, markers, stickers, coloring books and construction paper, to supply the craft cart at Akron Children’s Hospital Beeghly Campus.

Financial contributions will also be accepted.
