XA response team of the Vicar of Clergy, superintendent of schools and a professional counselor will be at Our Lady of Peace School in Canton at 6 p.m. Friday to assist parents in how to talk to their children about the situation with the Rev. Thomas Crum, who was removed as pastor at Our Lady of Peace Church, after admitting to an allegation of sexual misconduct 30 years ago. Due to an editing mistake, the name of the school was inadvertently omitted in Wednesday’s editions.

XThe Mahoning County prosecutor has recommended four years in jail for Joseph R. Perry Sr., 62, of Tenney Avenue, Campbell, and his son, Joseph R. Jr., 40, of Peters Drive, Campbell, who were found guilty Tuesday of felonious assault and aggravated burglary charges in the June 24, 2008, beating of an Austintown man at a Campbell home. The pair would also face a five-year mandatory post-release control period supervised by the state Adult Parole Authority. A story in Wednesday’s editions had an incorrect recommendation from the prosecutor’s office for the Perrys.
