Parents announce plans for Craig, Yardas wedding

The engagement of Shana Lynn Craig of Canfield and William Joseph Yardas of Boardman, and plans for their upcoming marriage, are being announced by their parents, Kenneth and Roan Craig of Poland, and Bruce and Rosemarie Yardas of Boardman.

The couple have chosen Aug. 8 for their 2 p.m. wedding at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Struthers. The open ceremony will be followed by an evening reception to be by invitation at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

Miss Craig graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights with a bachelor’s degree in history, and from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a master’s in school counseling. She is a high school social studies teacher with Boardman Local Schools.

Mr. Yardas is the self-employed owner of Bill’s Lawncare and Landscape, LLC, in Boardman. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
