Drive-in moviegoers testify in Ohio court fight
ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) — Drive-in theater patrons here have testified that lights from an adjacent sports complex made their movie look washed-out and faded.
One patron of the Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive-In Theater testified Wednesday the athletic-field lights left her unable to tell what was going on in the movie. Another testified that he wouldn’t go back until the light problem is fixed.
Testimony was scheduled to resume today in the theater’s lawsuit against the nearby Ohio Sports Park in North Ridgeville. The lawsuit is seeking $50,000 in damages.
The sports center opened last month and says it meets local light control ordinances.
