Campus work Summer construction

Youngstown State University has a host of construction projects on its summer schedule, some of which have already begun. Most are of short-term duration, but the biggest one, the new Williamson College of Business Administration, won’t be completed until fall 2010. The projects are:

Williamson College of Business Administration building — $30 million. Construction start: March 2009. Completion: August 2010.

West Campus Gateway, Spring Street — $1,005,000 (includes an entrance wall at the East Campus Gateway on University Plaza). Construction start: April 2009. Completion: August 2009.

Tod Hall Entrance — $700,000 (new entrance on northeast side). Construction start: August 2009.Completion: Not available.

Coffelt Hall Renovations — $980,000 (new home of the Office of Graduate Studies). Construction start: August 2009. Completion: November 2009.

Campuswide and Beeghly Center roof renovations — $900,000 (also includes portions of roofs on Jones, Ward Beecher and Fedor halls). Construction start: May 2009. Completion: September 2009.

Art department office renovation — $125,000. Construction start: May 2009. Completion: August 2009.

Stadium seating replacement — $230,000. Construction start: July 2009. Completion: August 2009.

Parking deck repairs - $357,000 (preventative maintenance on both the Wick Avenue and Lincoln Avenue decks). Construction start: May 2009. Completion: August 2009.
