Salem woman dies in car-truck crash

WASHINGTONVILLE — A Salem woman was killed when she crossed the center line on state Route 14 and struck a dump truck.

Rebecca R. Mango, 55, who was wearing a seatbelt, was eastbound on Route 14 about 8:40 a.m. today, crossed the center line and struck the truck, driven by Vincent J. Domenic Jr., 56, of Youngstown, who was westbound on Route 14, according to the Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred west of the Germantown Road intersection.

Dominic was treated for minor injuries.
