Culvert replacement projects scheduled for Beaver Township this month

The Mahoning County Engineer’s office has announced two road closings in Beaver Township over the next two weeks for culvert replacement projects.

The first is Garfield Road between state Route 7 and state Route 164. Weather permitting, the work begins Tuesday and is to be completed June 18. The detour around the area will be along Route 7, West Pine Lake Road, and Route 164.

The second project is on Blosser Road between Route 164 and state Route 165 (East South Range Road). Blosser will be closed from June 23 to June 25. Traffic will be detoured along routes 164 and 165.
