World Wide Knit Day open to yarn crafters

CANFIELD — Western Reserve Knitting Guild is inviting yarn crafters to participate in a World Wide Knit in Public Day Saturday at the gazebo in Canfield Center, state Route 224 at 46.

From noon until 4 p.m. caps for the Heart Start Programs of Mahoning and Columbiana counties will be knitted or crocheted.

There is no fee to participate. Those attending are asked to take yarn to make a cap and any current project.
