Wing Cook-off is benefit

SHARON, Pa. — The second annual Wing Cook-Off, a benefit for the United Way of Mercer County, is set for June 18 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Tully’s Restaurant.

Tickets are $15 per person, and the first 100 participants get a free Wing Cook-Off T-shirt.

The event will feature a disc jockey, drink specials, restaurant mascots, games and prizes.

Restaurants from the area will be judged in categories that include hottest sauce, most creative sauce, best barbecue sauce and best traditional sauce.

Quaker Steak and Lube is the event sponsor. All local restaurants are invited to participate.
