The News-Gazette, Champaign, Ill.: Take my wife! Please.

That’s what Rod Blagojevich said to NBC, and NBC said OK.

Now Patti Blagojevich, best-known for her foul language caught on FBI wiretaps, is destined for nationwide exposure on the network’s upcoming reality TV show, “I’m a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here.”

Indictment

The network originally sought Blagojevich, who became celebrated after disgracing himself and the state of Illinois, getting indicted for allegedly trying to sell a U.S. Senate seat and being impeached and removed from office.

Unfortunately for Blago, U.S. Judge James Zagel refused to return his passport, making it impossible for Blago to travel to Costa Rica where the show is to be filmed. Hence, the change of plans.
