Father, son placed in Mahoning Co. Jail after shooting at each other
YOUNGSTOWN — A father and his son from the city are in Mahoning County Jail on a combined $1 million bond after a household dispute led to gunfire being exchanged between the two.
Jerry Glenn, 59, and his son Mickele Glenn, 19, both listing the same Southern Boulevard address, appeared today before Judge Robert A. Douglas Jr. of Youngstown Municipal Court via video. The two men had to be kept separate at the jail.
Both men are charged with felony possession of a firearm. Prosecutors told the court additional charges may be filed on each man in relation to the shooting at their home.
Prosecutors read a lengthy criminal history for Jerry Glenn before asking the judge to impose a $500,000 bond. Mickele Glenn’s criminal history was not as lengthy, but he does have a conviction for carrying a concealed weapon and additional crimes as a juvenile, prosecutors said.
Judge Douglas imposed a $500,000 bond on each man.
