2 children, grandmother killed in Canton

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Two young children and their grandmother have been found slain here, and police have a 35-year-old man in custody.

The man arrested is suspected of slitting the throats of his children, ages 3 and 5, early today. Stark County Coroner P.S. Murthy says the children were killed in a car outside an apartment building.

A third victim, the children’s 57-year-old grandmother, was shot to death.

The man arrested was charged with domestic violence about a year ago in a case involving his ex-wife.
