Rondinelli 7-2 in Class B League

STRUTHERS — Drew Fitzpatrick had three hits while Greg Eshelman tossed a complete-game seven-hitter as Rondinelli Tuxedo defeated Dave Sugar Excavating, 10-2, in a Class B League game on Saturday.

Eshelman (2-0) had three strikeouts while Jake Double added two hits for Rondinelli (7-2).

Jordan Izzo had a single and a triple for Dave Sugar (4-5).

Roth 13, ACT 11

Bubba Uhlman and Nick Reinthaler had three hits each for Roth, (6-4) while Jon Rhoads went 52‚Ñ3 innings for the win, his second of the season.

Matt Corner had three hits for Action (1-8).

Astro 8, Yo. Express 1

Trent Vallinger struck out 11 in a complete-game performance for Astro (6-3). Ryan Rovnak scored three times. Eric French had a pair of doubles for the Express (0-9).

Wharmby Sports 7, Livi Steel 4

Dom DeFelice had three hits, including two triples, for Wharmby. Ben Bechtol and Ross Lopez added two singles each while Matt Tyson tossed a complete game with five strikeouts. Tim Calhoun drove home two runs for Livi Steel.

OTN 9, 1080 Media 3

OTN Performance worked 10 walks, with six of them scoring, to improve to 7-3. Robert Franks (2-1) went the first five innings for the win, allowing one run on five hits and striking out five. Joe Aulizia had a triple and a double for 1080, while Dan Popio and Anthony Raschilla had two hits each.

Livi Steel 11, ACT 10

Nick Harper’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning drove home the winning run for Livi in a game Friday night. Winning pitcher Mike McClung (1-1) had three hits, including a double, and drove home three runs. Mike Riffe had a double and two RBIs for Action.

Dave Sugar 8, Wharmby Sports 7

Jordan Izzo’s bases-loaded double in the top of the seventh scored three runs for Dave Sugar. Marlo Cleckley had two hits for Sugar with Dan Calai (1-1) getting the win in relief and Joe Borrelli recording the save. Dom DeFelice had three hits, including a double, and drove home four runs for Wharmby. Mike Tomko and David Saluga had a single and a double apiece.

Rondinelli 17, Yo. Express 1

Ed Reese had three hits, two of them triples, and four RBIs for Rondinelli. Jake Double added two hits.

WARREN — Nick Zajaczkowsku scored two runs as Cleats edged Brewers, 3-0, on Friday night. The teams combined for just five hits. Andrew Beachy hit a double for Cleats and Mike Swoboda tossed a two-hit shutout.
