GIRARD
• Members of Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. June 10 at the Center, 16 N. State St. After the business meeting will be a program by Vince Schuyler, who will speak about senior services offered by Trumbull County. Reservations will be taken for a luncheon June 24. The cost is $2.
GM LORDSTOWN
• Members of GM Lordstown Salaried Retirees Club will have a dinner meeting Wednesday at Lucianno’s Restaurant, Raccoon Road in the Wedgewood Plaza, Austintown. A social will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $16 per person, and a cash bar will be available. All salaried retirees from GM, Delphi and EDS and their surviving spouses are welcome. To make a reservation by Monday, call Marilyn Shaftic at (330) 544-3301. Sean Buchanan, a representative of U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan’s office, will update members on the lobbying going on with the Auto Task Force to preserve benefits.

• An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede the noon meeting of Golden Pillars on Tuesday at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Social Hall, 356 Belle Vista Ave. Eleanor Hnat will preside, and Joseph Leshnack will be honored as the Father of the Year. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed and cards and bingo will be the diversion. Members are reminded to take their place setting.
HAPPY WANDERERS
• Happy Wanderers will meet Wednesday at the Corner House Christian Church for a program by Vonnie Kaye Brough, storyteller. The hospitality committee will be Marilyn Spellman, Flo Shilling, Mary Humenny, Janice Burrows, Bob Burrows, and Millie and Pat Gilliland. Greeters will be Doris Tisza, Vivian Fell, and Bob Cassidy. Those whose last names begin with M-Z are asked to take cookies. Reservations will be accepted for the July 17 picnic.
