Find the money, don’t tax

EDITOR:

For Trumbull County to put up $2.5 Million to get $12.5 Million from the state is a “no brainer.”

But why a tax? Surely Trumbull County commissioners can reshuffle about 5 percent of their budget to front the money for the road development to get the state funds.

This is purely a cash management problem, not a reason for a new tax. A good businessman would give his back teeth to get a problem like this.
