Rebecca Davidson, Geoffrey Crowley will wed in July

BOARDMAN — The engagement of Rebecca Davidson, of Alexandria, Va., and Geoffrey Crowley, of Bloomington, Ind., is being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, Bill and Edie Davidson of Boardman.

The future groom is the son of Marina Crowley of Los Angeles and the late Gene Crowley.

The couple will wed at 2:30 p.m. July 10 in an open ceremony at Boardman United Methodist Church. Invitations will be issued for a reception that evening at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

Miss Davidson is a staff sergeant and fife instrumentalist in the U.S. Army’s Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps. She holds a bachelor’s degree in flute performance from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in music from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She is pursuing a doctor of musical arts degree from the Catholic University of America.

Mr. Crowley has a bachelor of music degree in flute performance from Oberlin College. He recently received a master of music degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
