Parents announce Nemergut-Yurcich wedding plans

EDINBORO, Pa. — The engagement of Julie Ann Nemergut, 214 Hickory St., and Michael Thomas Yurcich, 228 Walnut St., and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced by their parents.

Jack and Kathy Nemergut, 3502 Stratmore Ave., Youngstown, are parents of the bride-elect. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where she is a women’s track and cross country coach.

The future groom is a son of Charles Yurcich, 151 Lake Edge Drive, Euclid, and the late Patricia Yurcich. He earned a bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in education from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind. He is an offensive coordinator for the football team at Edinboro University.

The couple have chosen June 13 for their 2 p.m. open wedding at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Avion on the Water, Canfield.
