Lions Club to sponsor Turtle Derby at car show

LOWELLVILLE — Youngstown Lions Club will sponsor its 48th annual Turtle Derby at 6:30 p.m. June 22 at the Lowellville Car Show on East Water Street.

Admission is free, and children are invited to help race the live turtles.

Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each at the event, giving patrons two chances to win $150. Proceeds will benefit the Lions Sight-Saving Fund.
