Dinner, entertainment to benefit family

SALEM — Ponderosa Park will be the setting from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday for a spaghetti dinner planned as a benefit for the children of Candi Peterson, who died May 12 at the age of 32.

In conjunction with the dinner, Kassie Simpson will perform between 2 and 4 p.m., and following the dinner there will be performances by The Nobody’s from 7 to 8 and by Night Moves, beginning at 8.

Anyone wanting to donate to the cause is asked to make checks payable to Ernest Ditter and mail to him at Pondorosa Park, 9362 Salem-Warren Road.
