Tractor-trailer rig flips, trapping driver

YOUNGSTOWN — A tractor-trailer rig filled with auto parts turned over around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday on the Himrod Expressway at Albert Street, trapping the driver in the cab.

Firefighters were called to the scene to extract the driver, who reportedly was not seriously injured. A portion of Albert was blocked to traffic while crews cleared the wreckage away.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
