United way to sponsor evening with champions

BOARDMAN — United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley is presenting “Champions Among Us,” an evening with Ron Jaworski. former Youngstown State University and National Football League quarterback and ESPN broadcaster, Thursday at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet session, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., a program, and a live auction.

Honored during the evening will be Youngstown’s Middleweight Boxing Champion Kelly Pavlik, and former Ursuline quarterback Daryll Clark.
