Salem raid nets suspected marijuana

SALEM — Dann Arnold, 46, the manager at the Foxes Denn was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a raid at the establishment.

Det. Dan Downard, the director of the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, said Tuesday that authorities seized an ounce of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a 1995 Jeep, a loaded handgun, and over $3,000.

There may be additional charges after the investigation is finished, he said.

Officers from the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Youngstown unit took part in Monday’s raid, along with the Salem Police Department and an agent from the Ohio Investigative Unit.
